WHAT TO EXPECT

Immediately following your procedure, your lips may be swollen or bruised. These symptoms will subside within 48 hours. Your lips may appear bolder and sharply defined than the final results. Colour may lighten up to 50%. Minimal discomfort, flaking and dryness are normal during the healing period. Flaking of the lips takes 6-7 days. The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks. During this process, your lips may feel tender. Be patient as your skin is still regenerating and exfoliating. Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up appointment no sooner than 4 weeks after your initial session.
